Cleaning The Petphabet Jumbo Covered Litter Box
The Petphabet Jumbo Covered Litter Box is simple to clean. Not only are you able to see when the litter needs to be cleaned through the clear hood, but it is easy to remove. There are four clips along the outside of the litter box that can be flipped up. Once the top is off, it is easy to scoop out the soiled litter.
You have the option to use liners but it is not needed. Because the litter tray is deep, more litter can be added which means less maintenance. Because it features anti-microbial technology materials, it helps control odor along with your choice of litter.
When it comes time to change out the litter and clean the box, it’s pretty straightforward. There are no areas for litter or bacteria to get trapped and dumping the litter out is easy once the hood is off. You can then wipe it out with mild soap or rinse it out with a hose or in a bathtub.
Does It Control Odor Well?
The Petphabet Jumbo Covered Litter Box features a deep litter tray that helps fight against unwanted odor from your cat litter. Although, the cat litter you choose will have a bigger effect on smells over the litter box itself.
The Petphabet Jumbo Covered Litter Box comes with a clear hood that helps keep odor at a minimum. The fact this litter box has no cracks or nooks that can trap odors and bacteria helps control smells.
Does It Control Tracking And Scatter?
Like any litter box, the Petphabet Jumbo Covered Litter Box is not 100% track-proof but that is to be expected. However, it does a good job of keeping the scatter from escaping due to its clean cover and high sides.
Of course if you have an aggressive digger and flinger, your cat may manage to kick litter right out of the front opening. But this box will help manage the scatter better than most.

Our cats had no issues using the Petphabet Jumbo Covered Litter Box . There was some scatter around the opening of the litter box and some tracking as expected. Other than that, it did a decent job of keeping the litter inside the box.
