First up on the list, we’re dealing with much smaller cats. This account came about from pandemic boredom, an attempt to make whimsically entertaining content where their cats are portrayed as chefs and sometimes do DIY hacks.

And especially for you cat owners, make sure you check our cat food reviews and best pet insurance ranking.

Engagement rate:
4.07%
Average likes per video:
414,650

First up for the pet with the highest engagement rate, is Tucker the golden retriever - which is no surprise, who doesn’t like cute dog videos? Cats, probably. Generally, it’s harder for an account with more followers to get good engagement rates – good falls into the range of 1-5% typically – so for this account with 10 million followers to get an engagement rate of over 4% is impressive.

2

Venus Two Face Cat

Engagement rate:
3.25%
Average likes per video:
74,655

Next up, we got one for the cat people, it’s Venus the two-faced cat. No, not the kind of two-faced you’re thinking, this cat has a half red tabby face and a half black face, with a green eye and a blue one. If being strikingly gorgeous wasn’t enough, this cat has appeared on The Today Show, no wonder they have a great engagement rate.

3

Swaggy Wolfdog

Engagement rate:
3.16%
Average likes per video:
233,650

Another one for the dogs and dog-lovers out there, but also for Swaggy Wolfdogs following the “Swaggy Squad”. Having such a loyal following group is bound to be important in getting people to consistently interact and engage with the content you’re making, which is why Swaggy has a 3.16% engagement rate, which is impressive for an account with 7 million followers.

Methodology

We looked at lists, such as this one from Business Insider for the most popular pet influencers on TikTok.

Once we had accrued the list of 35 influencers and their pet pals, we then used this calculator in order to get data on the following factors: followers, average hearts (likes) per post, estimated earnings per post, engagement rate and the total number of posts on each account.

We then did three rankings on the highest amount of followers, earnings and engagement rate.
